Make Christmas Meaningful (Again)
Advent Conspiracy was founded on the radical idea that we can celebrate Christmas humbly, beautifully, and generously. Advent is the story of when God entered our world to make things right. It is the greatest story ever told and it changes everything — including the way we celebrate Christmas.
Over a decade ago, a few pastors were lamenting how they’d come to the end of an Advent season exhausted and sensing they’d missed it — the awe-inducing, soul-satisfying mystery of the incarnation. Many of us struggle to find the connection between our Christmas to-do lists and the story of Jesus’ birth. The time of year when focusing on Christ should be the easiest is often the hardest, and somehow, this has become the new normal.
Over the past 15 years, Rock Hill Community Church has partnered with thousands of other churches by participating in the Advent Conspiracy movement. In that time, we’ve raised over $698,000 for local and global projects!

Worship Fully
Christmas begins and ends with worship. We take time to ponder the reality of Immanuel: God with us.
Spend Less
We cannot buy our way to happiness, nor does a gift for “x” amount dollars validate our love. We commit to spending less on unneeded gifts.
Give More
When God gave, he gave extravagantly; he gave himself. We will seek to give ourselves relationally to those that we love and care about.
Love All
We will take some of the money that we would have spent on gifts and give it to meet the needs of those less fortunate than ourselves.
Our 2023 Projects
This year, we are raising money to help both local and global ministry partners to meet a variety of physical, social, and spiritual needs. Our goal is to raise $80,000 by the end of the year!
