In 2014, an estimated 21 million victims were trapped in modern-day slavery. Of these, 14.2 million were exploited for labor, 4.5 million were sexually exploited, and 2.2 million were exploited in state-imposed forced labor. We must do something, and prayer is the first step.
Join us on September 24 for Freedom Sunday. We are going to link arms with the International Justice Mission
(IJM) and the body of Christ at large to pray for victims of human trafficking globally and in our city from 3:30-5:00 PM
. Wayne Gahn, the prayer coordinator for IJM in the Twin Cities, will lead us in a prayer set for victims globally. Then, a team of several people from Rock Hill will lead us in praying for victims locally here in Duluth.
