God’s Strength in our Weakness – 2 Corinthians 10:1-6
Paul begins to address the “Super-Apostles” that have come to the Corinthian church with powerful rhetoric and flashy presentations. He does this not by elevating himself through bragging about his resume or experience but rather by humbly pointing back to Jesus as the Lord and Savior. He sets the ground rules that the battle will not be won through “weapons” of the flesh and of the world but rather meekness, humility and a servant’s heart are the spiritual weapons that destroy the strongholds of our hearts and minds. As Jesus is victorious, we are victorious.
